    Based on our prolonged exposure in the health sector, we have established a clear understanding of the market need. This has enabled us to put together a product portfolio that can cater towards our large customer base. In line with the medical gas demand, SOL manufactures and supplies some of the most common, yet crucial medical-purpose gases.

    In the Medical Gas Division, SOL most commonly manufactures liquid & gaseous Oxygen, liquid & Gaseous Carbon Dioxide and Nitrous Oxide. The gases are then supplied in the high-pressured cylinders or the medical gas system. The following information about the gases SOL provides will help understand just how crucial they are in life saving:

    O2

    O2–Oxygen is a medical gas required in every healthcare setting and is used for resuscitation and inhalation therapy. It is the most commonly used gas and comes in high-pressured cylinders. Evaporated liquid Oxygen is used in higher capacity hospital and supplied through Medical Gas System. However, without higher consumption liquid Oxygen is not cost effective.

    CO2

    CO2 – Carbon-di-Oxide is used for insufflating medical gas for less invasive surgeries like laparoscopy, arthroscopy, endoscopy, and cryotherapy, as well as for respiratory stimulation during and after anesthesia. CO2 may be piped in large hospitals, but more likely comes from a tank.  Carbon Dioxide can exist as a liquid under pressure at room temperature and is typically stored and transported in this form in high pressure cylinders for use by patients.

    N2O

    N2O – Nitrous Oxide gas is used in numerous surgical procedures as both an anesthetic and analgesic. It is delivered to the hospital in high-pressure cylinders and supplied through the Medical Gas system.

    Compressed Air

    Compressed Air-Compressed air used in hospitals and healthcare facilities to distribute medical gas. It is free of contamination and particles, has no oil or odors, and is dry to prevent water buildup in your facility’s pipeline. When a patient is in the operating room, whether it’s an emergency or not, a surgeon relies on a medical air compressor to keep the patient comfortable and breathing. Medical air sources shall be connected to the medical air distribution system only and shall be used only for air in the application of human respiration and calibration of medical devices for respiratory application.
